The Black Chief Officer's Committee
Dear BCOC Members and Supporters:
I would like to thank each one of you for making our
5th Annual Black Chief Officers Training Symposium
in conjunction with the International Association of
Black Professional Fire Fighters an awesome
success. Your personal contributions made our time
in Dallas worthy of praise. We have the capacity to
continue to make a progressive impact on each
enmity we come in contact with, and as an
organization we will continue to make a positive
impact on the entire fire service.
We are looking forward to opportunities that further
galvanize us as an organization committed to the
collective good of the whole while realizing that our
unity is our strength. We were blessed to have our
elders and founders with us at our conference, and we
should stand ready to see that no other brother or
sister has to endure the treatment they spoke to us
about.
In closing, let us not forget that there is still work to be
done and we cannot expect any one else to do that
work for us. Brotherhood and sisterhood is a must.
Knowledge+ Unity= POWER. Be wise and stay
strong.
Yours in the struggle,
Ray Brooks
Chairman BCOC
